Edward Pittman

My writing runs the gamut from screenwriting to fiction to songwriting to poetry. My screenwriting credits include:

  • The Communicator, an action drama. At an armored transport company struggling to survive, a corporate speechwriter with his personal life in crisis fights to maintain his integrity and save lives when a ruthless team of criminals, led by a killer with nothing to lose, begins a deadly campaign of robbery and murder.

  • Nothing Changes is a drama. Investigating a young man’s attempted suicide exposes the fractures in a psychologist’s seemingly perfect world, pushing him to the brink of tragedy. It's a commissioned script based on the novel Nothing Ever Changes by Herb Abrams.

  • Threat is a corporate thriller. After the brutal murder of two employees at a computer antivirus multinational, a corporate everyman unravels a shocking conspiracy and must outmatch his adversaries before he becomes the next victim. Threat has attracted Colin Bates/Penn Film Group (“Maggie”, “Kidnap” and “The Culling”).

I have several other scripts in various stages of completion. If I Only Knew Your Name, the full-length musical I co-wrote with charted Americana recording artist Arthur Godfrey, is my first work for the stage.
